Version 1.0 of our Android Keyboard App was our first product offering and it comes with support for the following languages: English (UK & USA), French, German, Italian and Spanish. We’ve also included an efficient character keyboard layout (English only) which you can choose as an option to further improve your data entry keying speed. The following procedure outlines the steps to be taken for the BeeRaider App Installation of the BeeRaider Keyboard App on your Android Device. Note that the required version of Android is 2.2 and upwards and that the App works best on larger screen devices.
BeeRaider App Installation Procedure
First download the BeeRaider App onto your Android Device (Smart-phone Or Tablet) and then proceed as follows:
- Press Menu Button on your device, and Select “Settings”.
- Click on “Language & Keyboard”.
- Select the check-box labelled “BeeRaider”.
- Click “Ok”.
- Open any Application which has Edit-Text (Text box Or Input box).
- Do a long press on the text-box/input box, a small
dialogue box will appear. - Now Select “Input Method”.
- Then select the option, labelled “BeeRaider”.
- You should now see the BeeRaider Keyboard
displayed on your screen. The Keyboard
should be now ready for you to start typing. - Re-start your device.
That’s it!
Now you are ready to use the BeeRaider Keyboard App. The BeeRaider keyboard should now be displayed ready-for-typing on your device’s screen.
If you have done all this and still can’t get our keyboard App to appear on your phone, then it may be the case that there’s a very small keyboard icon at the top-left of your phone-screen? If you can see this, then you should swipe downwards from the top of your screen to reveal it, before selecting it to activate it. Then when offered, select the ‘BeeRaider Keyboard’.
